Monte Melago is 1275 meter high peak and is part of the Vicentine Alps. The peak is located 5 km southwest from the center of Foza and 5 km west from the center of Valstagna. The nearest mountain hut is Baita Rifugio Biancoia, located 5km southeast. A little further is Azienda Val Ceccona. North of the summit is the valley Val Miela.
