Monte Cesen is 1570 meter high peak with a cross located in the Carnic Alps mountain range. The peak is located 5 km north-northwest from the center of Santo Stefano and 5 km west-northwest from the center of Combài. The nearest mountain hut is Posa Puner, located 3km east-northeast. A little further is bivouac Bivacco Momi. The peak is located south of the valley Val Scura.
