Mohrenkopf is 1645 meter high peak and is part of the Allgäu Alps. The peak is located 5 km north-northeast from the center of Rehmen and 5 km north from the center of Schoppernau. The nearest mountain hut is Neuhornbachhaus, located 5km south-southeast. A little further is Hinterhochrubachalpe. Southeast of the summit is the valley Kleinwalsertal.
