Mittelrücken is 2537 meter high peak in the Lechtal Alps. The peak is located 0.7 km east-southeast of peak Holzgauer Wetterspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Frederick-Simms-Hütte, located 1.8km west-northwest. A little further is Ronigalpe. 0.5 km southwest from the summit there is glacier Fallenbacher Ferner (ehem.).
