The nearest mountain hut is Schürhütte, located 3km southwest. A bit closer is hunting cottage Jagdhütte Mayralm, which is located 1.7km to the south. Northeast of the summit is the valley Neustiftgraben. The peak is located above the ridge Sengsengebirge.
