Marmolada

Description:
Marmolada is 3343 meter high peakon which a cross stands located in the Dolomites mountain range. The peak is located 7 km west from the center of Sottoguda and 7 km south-southwest from the center of Arabba. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Capanna al Ghiacciaio, located 1.5km northeast. Even closer is bivouac Bivacco Marco Dal Bianco, which is located 1.0km to the southwest. 3 km north-northeast of the peak there is lake Lago di Fedaia - Lech de Fedaa. Northwest from the summit there is glacier Ghiacciaio del Vernel. The peak is located above the valley Val Rosalia. The peak is located above the valley Val Rosalia.
