Malatschkopf is 2365 meter high peakon which a cross stands and is part of the Lechtal Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 0.6 km south-southwest of peak Grießkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Kaiserjochhaus, located 0.5km northwest. JH is a bit further away. 6 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Pettneuer Ferner, 7 km south-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Flirscher Ferner.
