Lobanškov kogel is 949 meter high peak. The peak is located 4 km east-southeast of peak Žigartov vrh. The nearest mountain hut is Mariborska koča, located 2km north-northeast. A little further is hunting cottage Lovski dom - LD Fram. West of the summit is the valley Mislinjski jarek.
