The peak is located 1.3 km northwest from the center of Šentrupert nad Laškim and 1.9 km north-northwest from the center of Mačkovec and 5 km east-southeast of peak Tolsti vrh. The nearest mountain hut is Planinski dom na Resevni, located 3km northeast. A little further is Vrunčev dom na Svetini.
