Description:
Kogelj is 560 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located in country Slovenia 0.7 km northwest from the center of Stare Slemene and 1.8 km west-northwest from the center of Špitalič pri Slovenskih Konjicah. The nearest mountain hut is Planinska postojanka PD Dramlje, located 4km south-southeast. A bit closer is bivouac Lovska koča Štepih, which is located 3km to the northwest. North-northwest of the summit is the valley Mislinjski jarek.
