Description:
Kogel is 456 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 0.9 km west-northwest from the center of Lipa pri Frankolovem and 1.2 km north-northwest from the center of Straža pri Novi Cerkvi. The nearest mountain hut is Planinski dom Šentjungert, located 8km southwest. A bit closer is bivouac Lovska koča Štepih, which is located 6km to the east. The peak is located south of the valley Mislinjski jarek.
