Description:
Knapovec is 546 meter high peak. The peak is located 0.6 km north from the center of Žažar and 1.3 km west-southwest from the center of Vrzdenec. The nearest mountain hut is Zavetišče na Planini nad Vrhniko, located 5km south. A little further is hunting cottage Lovska koča (pod Malo Grmado). Southeast of the summit is the valley Ljubljansko barje.
