Klamperschrofen is 1755 meter high peak and is part of the mountain group Rätikon. The peak is located 3 km west-northwest from the center of Tschengla and 3 km southeast from the center of Nenzing. The nearest mountain hut is Furklaalpe, located 0.7km east-southeast. Spielplatz-Hütte is also relatively close. Northwest of the summit is the valley Gamperdonatal.
