Kapetanjka is 775 meter high peak. The peak is located 1.4 km north-northeast from the center of Dolenja Podgora and 1.6 km east-northeast from the center of Gorenja Podgora. The nearest mountain hut is Planinski dom na Mirni gori, located 10km north. A little further is hunting cottage Logarnica. Lovska koča. The peak is located west of the valley White Carniola.
