Gigalitz is 3001 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 8 km southeast from the center of Ginzling and 10 km north-northwest from the center of St. Johann im Ahrntal - San Giovanni Valle Aurina. The nearest mountain hut is Greizer Hütte, located 1.8km south-southwest.
