Description:
Gamsspitzl is 2888 meter high peakon which a cross stands located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.4 km northwest of peak Hinterer Maurerkeeskopf. The nearest mountain hut is Warnsdorfer Hütte, located 1.6km west-southwest. And bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte is also close by. 0.7 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Krimmlertörlkees, 1.5 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Krimmler Kees. West of the summit is the valley Krimmler Achental.
