Daxspitz - Punta del Tasso is 2645 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 3 km west from the center of Kematen - Caminata and 4 km north-northwest from the center of Afens - Avenes and 1.7 km north of peak Weißspitze - Punta Bianca. The nearest mountain hut is Enzianhütte - Rifugio Genziana, located 2km north. A little further is Dax-Alm. The peak is located in the valley Wipptal - Alta Val Isarco. The peak is located above the ridge Tuxer Hauptkamm.
