Čepala is 445 meter high peak. The peak is located 5 km south of peak Kojca. The nearest mountain hut is Lovska koča LD Planota, located 7km west-northwest. Closer is bivouac Lovska koča LD Otavnik, which is located 6km to the north-northeast. Northwest of the summit is the valley Baška grapa.
