Aškarca is 1525 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 0.4 km east-northeast of peak Jeklberg near the border with Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Wackendorfer Alm, located 3km north. A bit closer is Petzenstall, which is located 1.5km to the northeast. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Logarska dolina.
