Vilser Scharte

Description:
Vilser Scharte is a saddle at an altitude of 878 meters in the Allgäu Alps. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Austria and the country of Germany. The nearest mountain hut is Bad Kissinger Hütte, located 6km west-southwest. A bit closer is bivouac Wetterpilz, which is located 1.4km to the east-northeast. North of the saddle there is lake Alatsee. South-southeast of the saddle is the valley Raintal.
