The saddle is located 3 km south-southeast of peak Vorderer Eggenspitz - Cima Sternai Meridionale. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Stella Alpina Al Lago Corvo, located 2km east-southeast. A little further is bivouac Baito Sasso Vecchio. 8 km northwest of the saddle there is lake Zufritt-Stausee - Lago di Gioveretto. 6 km north-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Zufrittferner - Vedretta di Gioveretto, 6 km north from the saddle there is also glacier Soyferner - Vedretta di Soi.
