Description:
Passo Praino is a saddle at an altitude of 2079 meters and is part of the Natural Park Adamello-Brenta. The saddle is located 3 km south of peak Monte Altar and north-northeast above the mountain pasture Malga Valsorda di Iavrè. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Carè Alto, located 2km northwest. A little further is bivouac Malga Niscli. 6 km north-northwest of the saddle there is lake Lago di Lares. The saddle is located above the valley Val di Borzago.
