Description:
Passo Lares is a saddle at an altitude of 3228 meters in the Natural Park Adamello-Brenta. The saddle is located 12 km west-northwest of Pelugo and 12 km west-northwest of Borzago. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio ai Caduti dell'Adamello, located 3km northwest. A bit closer is bivouac Bivacco G. Laeng, which is located 0.8km to the south-southwest. 1.9 km east of the saddle there is lake Lago di Lares. 7 km northwest from the saddle there is glacier Vedretta di Pisgana, 7 km north-northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Pisganino. The saddle is located above the valley Val Folgorida.
