Muttawangjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 2025 meters and is part of the Lechquellen Mountains. The saddle is located 5 km northwest from the center of Unteres Älpele and 7 km west-southwest from the center of Schröcken. The nearest mountain hut is Göppinger Hütte, located 3km east-southeast. A little further is Litehütte (Jagdhütte). West-northwest of the saddle is the valley Great Walser Valley.
