Description:
Materot is a saddle at an altitude of 2525 meters and is part of the Natural Park Adamello-Brenta. The saddle is located 0.3 km south-southwest of peak Menicigolo. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Adamello Collini al Bedole, located 1.9km north-northwest. bivouac Bivacco Passo Lago Scuro (Museo) is also relatively close. 5 km south of the saddle there is lake Lago di Lares. 5 km north-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Vedretta Cercen, 5 km west-northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Pisganino. The saddle is located above the valley Val Stablelin.
