Krimmler Tauern

Description:
Krimmler Tauern is a saddle at an altitude of 2633 meters in the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Schlüichalm, located 3km south-southwest. Closer is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte, which is located 0.4km to the east-southeast. 2 km northwest of the saddle there is lake Eissee. 4 km east-southeast from the saddle there is glacier Östliches Kerrakees, 4 km northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Hohenaukees. West of the saddle is the valley Zillergründl.
