Description:
Kopfscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2484 meters and is part of the Lechtal Alps. The saddle is located 1.2 km east-northeast of peak Samspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Ansbacher Hütte, located 1.1km south-southwest. Maschniederleg is also relatively close. The saddle is located above the valley Alperschontal.
