Description:
Klausscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2572 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 5 km south-southeast from the center of Steinhaus - Cadipietra and 5 km west from the center of Rein in Taufers - Riva di Tures. The nearest mountain hut is Kasseler Hütte, located 8km east-southeast. Closer is Alpenverein Ahrntal, which is located 6km to the west. South of the saddle is the valley Reintal - Val di Riva.
