Description:
Kemater-Scharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2927 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Lenkjöchlhütte - Rifugio Giogo Lungo, located 2km north-northeast. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. West from the saddle there is glacier Rötfleckkees - Vedretta di Valle Rossa, 2 km east-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Rötkees - Vedretta Rossa. The saddle is located above the valley Schwarzachtal.
