Hochleitenjoch - Forcella Punta Alta is a saddle at an altitude of 2682 meters and is part of the National Park Stelvio. The saddle is located 0.4 km southeast of peak Hochleitenspitz - Punta Alta. The nearest mountain hut is Tabarettahütte - Rifugio Tabaretta, located 1.6km south-southeast. A little further is bivouac Tschierfeck Biwak am Ortler. 5 km south-southwest from the saddle there is glacier Zirkusferner - Vedretta del Circo, 5 km south-southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Nasenhornferner. The saddle is located above the valley Suldental.
