Hinteres Umbal-Törl is a saddle at an altitude of 2849 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Kleine-Philipp-Reuter-Hütte, located 1.6km south. And bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte is also close by. 0.7 km north-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Windtalkees, 1.4 km north-northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Östliches Kerrakees. South-southeast of the saddle is the valley Umbaltal.
