Getschnerscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2839 meters and is part of the Silvretta Alps. The saddle is located 0.5 km northeast of peak Madlenerspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Jamtalhütte, located 2km east-southeast. A little further is bivouac Ehemalige Zollwachhütte. 0.5 km west from the saddle there is glacier Madlenerferner, 0.5 km north from the saddle there is also glacier Hennebergferner. The saddle is located above the valley Jamtal.
