Description:
Forchia del Vedis is a saddle at an altitude of 1026 meters located in the Carnic Alps mountain range. The saddle is located 2.0 km south-southeast of peak Monte Piombada. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Fornas, located 13km north. A bit closer is bivouac Bivacco Carcadè, which is located 3km to the northeast. The saddle is located above the valley Valle di Costa Prima.
