Description:
Forcella Popena is a saddle at an altitude of 2213 meters located in the Dolomites mountain range. The saddle is located 1.9 km east of peak Piz Popena. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Col de Varda, located 3km east. A little further is bivouac Bivacco Ricovero Buffa di Perrero. 2 km east-northeast of the saddle there is lake Lago di Misurina. The saddle is located above the valley Val Popena Alta.
