Description:
Forcella Grande del Latenar - Große Latemarscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2650 meters located in the Dolomites mountain range. The saddle is located 3 km south from the center of Karersee - Carezza and 6 km west from the center of Moena. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Torre di Pisa, located 3km southwest. Closer is bivouac Bivacco Mario Rigatti, located to the east-southeast in the immediate vicinity of the peak. The saddle is located above the valley Val de la Vècia. The saddle is located below the ridge Torri del Latemar.
