Bocca Frontale is a saddle at an altitude of 1789 meters. The saddle is located 2.0 km northwest of peak Monte Lavanech and south above the mountain pasture Malga Redoten. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Trivena, located 12km northeast. A bit closer is bivouac Malga Gelo Bivacco Invernale, which is located 5km to the north-northwest. 2 km west-southwest of the saddle there is lake Lago Nero. The saddle is located above the valley Val di Daone.
