Description:
Planinsko učno središče (PUS) Bavšica is a mountain hut at an altitude of 711 meters located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The mountain hut is located 4 km northwest from the center of Socha and 5 km south-southeast from the center of Log pod Mangartom. The nearest peak is Matijeva glava, which is located 0.8km zahodno-jugozahodno. East-northeast of the mountain hut is the valley Zadnja Trenta and a marked path leads to the mountain hut.
