Closed hiking trail between Pl. Javornik and Velika preseka

Mountaineering Club Bled and Bled Forestry Management, Ltd. inform about the closure of the hiking trail to Blejska Hut, specifically the section between the parking lot at Planina Javornik and Velika preseka.

The hiking trail between the parking lot at Planina Javornik and Velika preseka (section of the popular trail to Blejska Hut) is CLOSED due to forestry works until and including December 20, 2024.

Access to Blejska Hut is possible via the hiking trail from the monument or all other hiking trails. The forest road to the parking lot at Planina Javornik and to the parking lot at the monument is also normally passable.

NOTICE TO HIKERS: We recommend that hikers check the actual condition of hiking trails in advance on the website stanje-poti.pzs.si, at the nearest mountain hut, or with the local mountaineering club. If you notice damage to hiking trails or their improper maintenance (faded markers, overgrowth, etc.), please send a message to poskodbe.poti@pzs.si, specifying which hiking trail you observed the deficiency on, describe the deficiency, and if possible, attach a photo.

Users of hiking trails must act responsibly and considerately towards others when using hiking trails so as not to endanger or injure themselves or others. The user is obliged to use the hiking trail in such a way that no damage is caused on it, on the land through which it passes, on other properties, or to the fauna and flora along it. It is prohibited to restrict access to hiking trails, damage, remove or destroy markers, signposts, logbooks, safety equipment and other signs, or use unmarked shortcuts.
