Avalanche buries mountaineer

Yesterday, an avalanche was triggered on the slopes of Storžič (2132m), which buried a mountaineer from Tržič. The injured mountaineer, who died at the scene, was found under the avalanche by a mountain rescuer. The 300m long and 100m wide avalanche was thoroughly searched by mountain rescuers with the help of avalanche dogs and a helicopter, but no one else was found under the avalanche.
