Lake Zeleno jezero

Description of lake:
Green Lake is located below Hribarice pass near Zasavska Hut at Prehodavci. The third in the sequence of the Seven Lakes got its name from its green color. The green color is given by algae growing in the lake. It is 100 m long, 80 m wide and 2 m deep. From the lake there is a beautiful view of the peaks above the Valley of the Triglav Lakes.
Swimming in the lake, as well as in all other Slovenian high mountain lakes, is prohibited.
