The Šum Waterfall is located in Polskavski vintgar on the Velika Polskava stream, which merges a short distance below with the Mala Polskava stream and continues as the Polskava. A short steep marked path branches off the Zgornja Polskava to Ruška koča na Arehu trail to reach the waterfall.
