Sazianiberg

Description of mountain:
Sazianiberg is a scenic hill that rises south of the picturesque town of Straden in Austria's Styria / Steiermark. The summit is most recognizable by the Sazianikreuz cross standing amidst the vineyards.
From the top, one of the finest views opens onto Straden and its four characteristic churches; on clear days, the panorama stretches across the wine-growing hills all the way to the Karawanks and Kamnik-Savinja Alps on both the Slovenian and Austrian sides. The hill's slopes are covered with vineyards, and nearby there are wine cellars and culinary stops.
