Pralongia

Description of peak:
Pralongia is a 2,109-metre peak on the Pralongia plateau in Alta Badia. On the summit is the Rifugio Pralongia, the highest and oldest hut on the plateau. The summit is surrounded by numerous ski slopes and the upper stations of the ski lifts. The view from the top of the mountain is very good, overloking the Marmolada, Sella, Puez and Lavarella mountain groups. The peaks above the Passo Valparola pass are also visible. There are also children's playgrounds around the summit and an interesting nature trail with many information boards. There is also a beautifully decorated chapel of St Anthony at the summit.
