Description of peak:
Peace, silence, rugged terrain... the characteristics of a peak at the "crossroads" of many routes between the Maribor, Celje and Ptuj areas. Plešivec, also known as Plejš among the locals, is a hill with a craggy peak between Boč in the west and Donačka gora in the east. Plešivec is the optimal connection to the eastern Karavanke Mountains. It does not have a distinct peak due to its clustered shape. Unlike Boč and Donačka gora, it is heavily covered with conifers. With a height of 822 metres, it is also interestingly the highest point of the pilgrimage route of the Virgin Mary. It is an excellent home/habitat for many animal and plant species.
