Description of peak:
Mesnovec is a 1538 m high peak located between Zgornji Goreljko and Rudni Polje on Pokljuka. From the top, we have only a few views towards the highest peaks of Julian Alps, as most of the view is blocked by nearby trees. For a much better view, it is worth climbing to the 30 m lower side peak (the north-western peak). From this peak, we have a beautiful view of Triglav, Rjavina, the peaks above Pokljuka and part of the Karavanke Mountains.
