Kugelberg

Description of mountain:
Kugelberg is a 633 m high peak on the elongated Kugelstein ridge between the town of Deutschfeistritz and the municipality of Frohnleiten on the right bank of the Mur.
In the Kugelstein area, 24 caves have been discovered and traces of settlements from the La Tène and Roman periods have been found.
There is no view from the summit due to the forest, but along the path to the top, beautiful vistas of Peggau and the surrounding hills open up in places.
