Krniška glavica / Jof di Sompdogna

Description of mountain:
Krniška glavica (Jof di Sompdogna) is a 1,889-meter-high peak in the Western Julian Alps, north of Montaž. A cross stands on the panoramic summit, and just below it is a small bivouac, a converted military structure. From the top, there is a very nice view of the nearby Montaž, as well as clear sights of Viš, Višarje, and the peaks above the Dunja valley.
