Description of mountain:
Köris Hegy (Ash Hill) is the highest peak in the Bakony Mountains, located in Veszprém County, Hungary, north of Lake Balaton. The summit lies in the northern, steeper part of the range. At the top is a wooden observation tower from which, on clear days, an exceptional view opens up over northern Hungary and Slovakia. There is also a radar station near the summit.
