Description of mountain hut:
Koča na Petrovem Brdu is located on the main road link between Železniki and Tolmin, in the immediate vicinity of the junction from where the road branches off to the village of Sorica and further on to Soriška planina and Bohinj. Koča na Petrovem Brdu is a suitable starting point for half-day and full-day hiking tours in the surrounding area. From the hut you can climb to Porezen, the peaks above Soriška planina or the 4-hour-long Črno Prst (Black Finger).
There is also a registration box with a stamp in front of the hut.
