Gače

Description of mountain:
Gače is a popular excursion spot for nature lovers and the only ski center in Dolenjska (SC Bela), offering pleasant skiing in winter and enjoyable walks on grassy slopes year-round. The summit provides nice views over Dolenjska and north to the Kamnik and Savinja Alps.
Gače is an abandoned village that was inhabited by Gottscheers more than 600 years ago. It has been without permanent residents since before World War I.
